Prophet Like Moses
I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.
[At-Tawbah - 128] [An-Najm - 3-4]
(Verily, there has come unto you a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from amongst yourselves (i.e. whom you know well). It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty. He (Muhammad SAW) is anxious over you (to be rightly guided, to repent to Allah, and beg Him to pardon and forgive your sins, in order that you may enter Paradise and be saved from the punishment of the Hell-fire), for the believers (he SAW is) full of pity, kind, and merciful.). [An-Najm - 3] Nor does he speak of (his own) desire. [An-Najm - 4] It is only an Inspiration that is inspired.
The prophecy about raising a prophet like Moses parallels Islamic beliefs about Prophet Muhammad, suggesting a shared understanding of prophethood and continuity in divine revelation.
