Trials as Test
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds...
[Al-Anfāl - 28]
[Al-Anfāl - 28] And know that your possessions and your children are but a trial and that surely with Allah is a mighty reward.
This is relevant because it connects a key spiritual concept—finding meaning in hardship—across both faiths. By revealing that the Bible also encourages viewing trials as pathways to greater faith, Muslims highlight that Islam didn’t originate this idea. Instead, Islam sustains a long tradition of understanding suffering as purposeful. Such concordance reassures those exploring Islam that it resonates with established scriptural wisdom, validating its authenticity.
