To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
[Al-Hajj - 37]
[Al-Hajj - 37] It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is piety from you that reaches Him. Thus have We made them subject to you that you may magnify Allah for His Guidance to you. And give glad tidings (O Muhammad SAW) to the Muhsinun (doers of good).
This verse is relevant because it signals that ethical behavior and fairness matter more to God than ceremonial acts alone. Islam, likewise, values moral integrity above ritual formalism. By showing that early scriptures championed righteousness over hollow observance, Muslims illustrate Islam’s continuity with time-honored moral traditions.
